Greetings! I am super excited to provide you with all the items you'll need to effectively host and promote The Amazing Chemistry Show and The Family Experience! Below you will find some great items you can use to get the word out to your church and community.
We have several volunteer roles that will need to be filled. The Volunteer Signup Sheet and Descriptions can be use to both keep yourself organized as well as be placed at a volunteer signup table to show volunteers the roles they could sign up to fulfill.
The Family Experience Floor plan is a map of how tables can be arranged for the hands-on science stations. Print this floor plan and have the tables arranged BEFORE my arrival.
Please note: While we can accommodate a variety of venue set up arrangements, this event MUST take place inside (with the exception of the rocket station which could be outside depending on weather). The suggested floor plan shows all science stations in one room, but we can adjust to fit into more than one room or even use hallway space to accommodate your venue set up.
You need to build 50-75 cardstock paper rockets. Print copies of the Rocket Designs on cardstock paper. You do NOT need to create one rocket per attendee – the rockets will be used over and over by the families. We provide the actual rocket launchers that will be used during the event. We actually provide 4 rocket launchers to keep the crowd moving through. You are only responsible for making the paper rockets.
**Please be sure to purchase 1/2 inch diameter PVC pipe to ensure rockets are built to the correct dimensions.

Please set up two, 8’ tables (or three 6’ tables) in the area where guests will be EXITING after the show, typically the church atrium. The Amazing Chemistry Show provides the table coverings. Please recruit two (2) people to set up 1 hour before the show begins for set up and to be present before and after the show.
We have created blog posts and a suggested social media campaign including photography and copy to use.
Many groups have used this material to successfully gather local media attention and get excellent coverage for their event. If you are using this event as an outreach tool for your church, then you need to leverage social media and your local print, radio and television stations to spread the word!
